Introducing Spatial Magic

Introducing Spatial Magic

We're expanding what spatial computing can be (useful everyday)—and who it can be for (everyone).

For years, the dream of spatial computing has been locked inside a single idea: wearables. It’s a vision we love, but it’s myopically focused on a class of devices that the whole world doesn’t currently own or use.

Rather than being limited by form factor, we decided to take a different path where fundamental problems like optics, battery life, thermals, daily behavior and mass adoption are already solved.

We’re calling this Spatial Magic - because we see the potential to give you new spatial superpowers that make computing feel more natural, intuitive and accessible (and feel like magic).

Spatial Magic is like gaining new superpowers, without having to wear a clunky costume.

We’re building spatial technologies and experiences for the devices you already own and use everyday that can run Computer Vision and AI, like laptops, tablets, TVs and phones. There are billions of these devices in our lives.

It’s such a genuinely exciting and simple path to make spatial computing useful and accessible on an astounding scale, that it’s impossible to ignore.

So what happens when your body and the air around you becomes the interface?

We think the answer is new spatially intelligent experiences that a generation of people will use everyday, and we’re on a mission to make these accessible, productive and fun for everyone.

This isn’t about escaping to a new world, but fundamentally changing how we interact with the one we live in, to become more human-compatible.

What’s the killer use case?

Our goal is to build foundational experiences that can benefit us everyday. We’ll be sharing more of our thinking, explorations and experiments as we continue the journey.

We're hiring brilliant creative and technical talents to work at the cutting edge of Computer Vision, AI and Spatial Computing. If you love to reason and build from first-principles, let's chat. Based in Los Angeles.
